Weinstein Finewine offers an exquisite selection of regionally typical wines and international classics of the highest quality. We focus on elegance, balance, and complexity.
We are particularly fascinated by cool-climate regions, whose wines delight with their freshness and tension. Our assortment is – like the winemakers themselves – shaped by origin, authenticity, and natural production.
We consciously focus on honest, characterful wines, far from mass production and the mainstream. Labels and trends are not our priority – instead, we see wine enjoyment as an individual journey, in which taste and preferences develop with growing experience.

We are here for you.We work with DPD's wine logistics service, and generally speaking, it works very well. Should anything be damaged, please let us know so we can find a solution together. In 2025, we did not record a single breakage or other complication. 100% of our shipments reached our customers.
During the hot summer months (>30°C), we prefer not to ship, or we ship in a way that ensures the wine is in transit for as short a time as possible, meaning shipping only on Mondays/Tuesdays. This also applies to temperatures below 0°C.
We offer free shipping on orders of €150 or more within Germany and Austria.

Our portfolio includes around 600 wines from about 70 European wineries, with a focus on France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and selected Austrian producers. Our emphasis is on regional wines characterized by balance, elegance, and complexity, frequently from cool-climate regions where the terroir is expressively showcased. Sustainable practices and artisanal production define our collaborations.
The company was founded in 2017 by Weinakademiker Sebastian Spiegel. From initial sales out of a garage, it quickly evolved into a professional location in Dornbirn, complete with a wine shop, tastings, academy formats, and a growing B2B business. Special attention is paid to wines from the German shores of Lake Constance, where the cool climate is increasingly producing wines of precision and tension. We intend to continue growing our range carefully—without losing our distinct stylistic signature.
We offer a number of exclusive wines, many of which are limited. From some wineries and importers, we receive an allocation only once a year. Please feel free to contact us for specific inquiries.
Beyond the wines available in our online shop, we have a large number of rarities in stock. We are pleased to offer a few bottles from the likes of KPK, E. Reynaud, J.L. Chave, Coche-Dury, and others to our top customers. We also still have plenty of older vintages from Franz Hirtzberger in our cellar.

At our pop-up event WINE TIME, in addition to tastings with our winemakers, we also host experts from the wine industry for masterclasses.
Our Weinstein Academy is a course for all wine lovers, whether beginner or advanced, where we get a little closer to the truth in wine.

ON A VINOPHILIC MISSION
The "Einstein" in Weinstein was the initial hook for the wine club '(W)einstein', founded in 2016.
This evolved into a wine-loving community and a serious wine business.
Those who seek the truth in wine must not give up after the first bottle.
FROM IDEA TO BUSINESS
However, the business operating out of owner Sebastian's parents' garage and the pop-up events WINE TIME were not enough.
It wasn't until the opening of the wine shop in Dornbirn that Weinstein Finewine truly became visible. The living room feel and intimate atmosphere have been delighting wine lovers from near and far since 2018.
In our wine shop, you can taste our new arrivals and uncork any bottle from the shelf to enjoy on-site.
BACK TO THE ORIGIN
With our Weinstein Academy, we are returning to the origin of our mission: "Wine doesn't just make you tipsy, it makes you smart."
The main course, "The Einstein in Weinstein," qualifies you as a wine connoisseur in six months and brings you even more joy when it comes to wine.
Tastings are among our core competencies, and we are happy to be available for individual requests and groups. Our Wine ABC takes place almost monthly and is a type of crash course for beginners.
