"Don't Believe the Hype" is a famous song by the great Public Enemy. For us, this Black Friday is also just a type of hype that we neither believe in nor want to celebrate.
For those who don't follow every new fad and hype, a brief explanation: the so-called Black Friday has developed into an artificial discount event in many industries, where prices are briefly staged, inflated, and then "dramatically" reduced. This discount policy creates, above all, one thing: short-term consumer pressure – but rarely genuine appreciation for products, craftsmanship, or origin.
At Weinstein Finewine, we stand for more sustainable values and business practices.
We work with winemakers who produce precise, high-quality wines in the vineyard and the cellar with great personal commitment. These wines have their value – and we do not want to trivialize it through discount headlines. Stable, fair prices are important to us: for our producers, for our customers, and for long-term quality assurance in the world of wine.
We do not believe in artificial price staging, but in transparency, craftsmanship, and sustainable business. That is why we consciously refrain from fast-paced and populist Black Friday promotions and remain true to our philosophy: value over advertising, substance over illusion, origin over hype.
