The Vecchie Vigne comes from a single vineyard near the estate in the north of Montalcino. The combination of cool nights, galestro soils, and a slightly higher altitude, along with roughly 40-year-old vines, are decisive for this characterful Brunello. The nose evokes a forest walk with beguiling scents of dark berries, undergrowth, and wild herbs. On the palate, the wine presents its fine-grained tannins, which pull through with a lean and taut structure, leaving a juicy impression on the long finish.
