Ridge Vineyards - Chardonnay Estate 2022

A wonderful Chardonnay from this exceptional California winery. Its big brother, the "Monte Bello," isn't actually that much bigger than this estate wine, which turns out to be less opulent than one might expect. In recent years, top Californian wines have all become very elegant and, as everywhere else, more "Burgundian." Nevertheless, the fruit aromas are intense and representative of their origin. All other components are balanced and harmonious. The sheer drinking pleasure is just the icing on the cake, which is a consistent theme throughout this winery's entire portfolio. A magnificent wine!
