Cesare Bussolo - Barolo DOCG Fossati 2021 (3-Liter Jeroboam)

The "Fossati" vineyard is one of the Grand Crus in La Morra. Lime-rich Tortonian soils, with clay and a touch of sand, define the terroir. The bouquet is generous, with scents of raspberry, dark cherry, a hint of violet, menthol, fennel, underbrush, and oak. Powerful in tannin, yet harmonious and hedonistic at the same time. A wide culinary range with great elegance and stature. A salinity makes itself felt in the finish, reflecting the minerality of Fossati and making it unique. Much could be written about this wine, and it counts as one of the most important in our portfolio.
