The Chablis from Lamblin & Fils is the perfect introduction to the unmistakable world of Chablis. Located in the far north of Burgundy, this small appellation represents a style of Chardonnay that is hard to confuse with any other region: cool, linear, chalky, and wonderfully salty.
The famous Kimmeridgian limestone soils and the cool climate define the wines just as much as frost, hail, and distinct vintage variations. But that is precisely what makes Chablis—after all, it would be boring if the wines tasted the same every year.
Lamblin & Fils has been closely linked to winemaking in Chablis for generations. Even the classic Chablis shows the house style: citrus fruit, fine herbal spice, and subtle yellow fruit meet a lively acidity and pronounced minerality. On the palate, the Chardonnay remains taut and elegant, with excellent drinkability and the typical mineral-salty finish.
A classic Chablis made from 100% Chardonnay that prioritizes origin over fruit while being wonderfully easy to drink. Just as strong as an aperitif as it is with oysters, fish, seafood, or simply on its own—a lot of Chablis for the money and one of our favorite introductions to white Burgundy.
