S.A. Prüm - Riesling "Solitär" 2022 (1.5L Magnum)

Fresh, light, and fruity. On the nose, one immediately thinks of the famous Mosel, which is as inextricably linked to Riesling as a cross is to a mountain summit. There is talk of subtle petrol notes, bringing to mind a tractor in a barn with a slight leak underneath. However, this debate is a dead end and should simply be filed away as a regional "marker," a combination caused by the slate soil and the grape variety itself, to be set aside for blind tastings. Ultimately, one particularly enjoys the lightness of this wine, which is wonderfully suited for celebrations and would even be available in 3-liter Jeroboams upon request.
