Weingut Schützenhof - Blaufränkisch Eisenberg DAC "Pur" 2018

Due to the iron-rich soil, Blaufränkisch from the Eisenberg wears a different outfit than its counterparts from the north. While up there the ballet tutu accompanies the ballerina onto the stage, at the Eisenberg it’s more of a leather skirt with a few studs. Dressed like that, it heads off to a metal concert, where you’re really only there for the opening act, not the played-out headliner.
