The Brandnetel Chenin Blanc from Thistle & Weed comes from old Chenin Blanc vines in the Swartland and impressively showcases the new, terroir-driven style of South Africa. The name "Brandnetel" means stinging nettle and refers to the wild herbs and natural vegetation surrounding the vineyards. In the glass, the wine combines ripe yellow fruit with salty minerality, delicate herbal spice, and invigorating freshness.
