Tenuta Pfitscher - Pinot Noir Riserva "Vigna Das Langefeld" 2020

The "Das Langefeld" vineyard is one of the highest and oldest Pinot Noir sites in the region, situated at an altitude of approximately 550 m. The grapes are selectively hand-harvested, mostly unstemmed, and cold-macerated for two days. Spontaneous fermentation lasts about 14 days. The wine is then aged for 12 months in barriques, 6 months in a 10 hl wooden barrel, and a further 30 months in the bottle. On the nose, the wine presents aromas of wild berries, undergrowth, and subtle smoky notes. On the palate, it is complex with silky, long-lasting tannins. The structure is precise and saline-mineral, with cool fruit and elegant depth. The Vigna Das Langefeld Pinot Nero Riserva is a prime example of South Tyrol's alpine elegance. Limited to around 1,200 bottles depending on the vintage!
