S.A. Prüm - Riesling "Solitär" 2025

Fresh, light, and fruity. On the nose, one immediately thinks of the famous Mosel, which is as inextricably linked to Riesling as a cross is to a mountain summit. There is talk of subtle petrol notes, bringing to mind a tractor in the barn with a slight drip underneath. However, this discussion is a dead end and should simply be filed away as a regional "marker" resulting from the combination of slate and grape variety, to be revisited during blind tastings. Ultimately, one particularly enjoys the lightness of this wine, which is wonderfully suited for celebrations and would even be available in 3-liter Jeroboams upon request.
