For this Barolo, the grapes are grown in the village of Serralunga d'Alba. This commune is known for producing the most powerful and long-lived Barolos, shaped by the heavy Helvetian soils. The fruit is somewhat darker and also displays nuances of blackberry. A hint of violet lies over it like a layer, giving it a seductive touch. Sexy and beguiling, like a favorite perfume. On the palate, it is compact, muscular, multi-layered, and fine-grained in its tannins. Long finish with mineral notes reminiscent of salt and stone.
