Gianni Brunelli's "Amor Costante" is an outstanding Super Tuscan from Tuscany that impresses with its elegance and complexity. This red wine is made from 80% Merlot and 20% Sangiovese. The grapes grow at the Podernovone estate in Montalcino. Sandy-calcareous clay soils with a touch of shale at altitudes between 470 and 510 meters define the local terroir.
After the harvest, the wine matures for 24 to 30 months in used Slavonian oak barrels, which imparts a fine woody note. On the nose, it unfolds lush aromas of cherries, strawberries, vanilla, and black pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied with silky tannins, a harmonious structure, and a remarkable freshness, thanks to the Sangiovese.
The "Amor Costante" is a wine of great depth and longevity that pairs excellently with dark meat, game dishes, or aged cheese. With a limited production of only about 2,300 bottles per vintage, it is a coveted collector's item for wine enthusiasts.
