Cesare Bussolo - Barbera d´Alba DOC "Roscaleto" 2018

The "Roscaleto" is one of the top Barberas from Piedmont. As with all of Cesare's wines, the yield per vine is reduced until only 1 kg remains. Full concentration flows into the selected grapes, and the vine is trained to deliver quality. The Barbera is then aged for one year in French oak, just like the Nebbiolo. Dark fruit aromas, herbs, and vegetal notes, fine wood, and spices spread across the nose. Intense in the bouquet. Complex on the palate with a powerful body. Fine tannins, complex and structured. A fantastic wine with great potential and an exceptional Barbera.
