Chateau Palmer - Alter Ego Margaux AC 2019

Highly rated vintage that could benefit from a few more years of aging. Chateau Palmer operates according to organic/biodynamic principles and, although "only" a 3ième Grand Cru Classé, it stands for great Bordeaux wines. With the "Alter Ego," a magnificent second wine has been created that represents the estate excellently. The 2019 contains slightly less Merlot because some plots fell victim to frost. Consequently, it is a bit pepperier and has firmer tannins, which are fine-grained, however, and give the wine great drive and structure. Long finish with still a lot of potential.
