Château Gruaud-Larose - Sarget de Gruaud Larose 2016

The second wine of Gruaud Larose, named after the founder of the renowned Super-Deuxième. One could almost describe the wine as fruit juice with a touch of alcohol, so light and refined does the 2015 Sarget glide over the palate. A truly fantastic introduction to the world of Bordeaux, or an ideal food companion that drinks effortlessly and leaves you wanting more. This is exactly the purpose a second wine should serve, while still perfectly representing the appellation and the château. Sarget plays this part wonderfully.
