Château du Tertre - Margaux AC 2016

Château du Tertre is a 5ème Grand Cru Classé from Margaux that represents the finer, elegant side of the Médoc. Its elevated gravel soils and high Cabernet content provide structure, freshness, and the fragrant aromatics typical of Margaux.

2016 is one of the great classic Bordeaux vintages. The nose offers cassis, dark cherry, and blackberry, accompanied by violets, cedar, tobacco, and subtle spice. Straightforward and precise on the palate, with fine-grained tannins, good freshness, and a long, dry finish. Not a boisterous Bordeaux, but an elegant, balanced Margaux with beautiful maturity and further aging potential.
