Château du Tertre - Les Hauts du Tertre 2015

Les Hauts du Tertre is the second wine of Château du Tertre, a 5th Grand Cru Classé in Margaux. It comes from the same gravel soils of the estate and showcases the château's style in a more approachable way, without losing the classic Margaux finesse.

The 2016 vintage offers dark berries, cassis, and plum, complemented by violets, fine herbal spice, and a hint of cedarwood. Elegant and balanced on the palate, with fine tannins, good freshness, and a cool, linear structure. A classic Margaux with lovely maturity—more accessible than the Grand Vin and drinking very well now.
