Cesare Bussolo - Barbera d´Alba DOC "Roscaleto" 2019

The "Roscaleto" is one of the top Barberas from Piedmont. As with all of Cesare's wines, the yield per vine is reduced until only 1kg remains. The full concentration thus flows into the selected grapes, and the vine is conditioned to deliver quality. The Barbera is then aged for one year in French oak, just like the Nebbiolo. Dark fruit aromas, herbs, and vegetal notes, along with fine wood and spices, spread in the nose. Intense on the bouquet. Multi-layered on the palate with a powerful body. Fine tannins, complex and structured. A fantastic wine with great potential and an extraordinary Barbera.
