Cesare Bussolo - Barolo DOCG La Serra 2020

The "La Serra" site is one of the Grand Crus from La Morra. Calcareous soils, with clay and a touch of sand, define the terroir. Bright berries and aniseed notes mingle on the nose, while on the palate, a tightly knit tannin structure glides across the tongue. Centered, balanced, and taut. Muscular, fine-grained tannins join in. In the finish, a saline quality pulls the wine toward the end, like a sunset over the hills of La Morra.
