Cesare Bussolo - Barolo DOCG La Serra 2021

The "La Serra" site is one of the Grand Crus from La Morra. Calcareous soils, with clay and some sand, define the terroir. Bright berries and aniseed notes dance on the nose, while a tightly woven tannin structure glides across the palate. Centered, balanced, and taut. Muscular, fine-grained tannins join in. In the finale, a salinity draws the wine into the finish, like a sunset over the hills of La Morra.
