The "Devon" Grosses Gewächs from the world-renowned Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard is a prime example of a powerful, dry Mosel Riesling. Old vines grown on deep Devonian slate soils lend the wine complex minerality and tremendous depth. The nose reveals aromas of citrus, yellow stone fruit, and delicate herbs. On the palate, it is precise and taut, carried by a lively acidity and salty minerality that leads into a long, elegant finish. A great Riesling experience with aging potential that impressively expresses the uniqueness of the Mosel.
