The Vecchie Vigne comes from a single vineyard near the estate in the north of Montalcino. The combination of cool nights, Galestro soil, and slightly higher altitude, as well as vines around 40 years old, are decisive for this characterful Brunello. The nose evokes a walk in the woods with beguiling aromas of dark berries, undergrowth, and wild herbs. On the palate, the wine presents its fine-grained tannins, which pull through with a lean and taut structure, leaving a juicy finish that lingers long.
