Martin Muthenthaler - Grüner Veltliner Spitzer Graben 2023

The grapes come from the Spitzer Graben, where the climate is slightly cooler and more challenging than further down by the Danube. The region, also known as the "upper Wachau" due to its altitude of around 400m above sea level, is often affected by hail and frost. The grapes for this wine come from various vineyards that showcase different terroir. The Veltliner spends a long time on the lees, which gives it its rounded character.
