The Satèn Franciacorta by Silvano Zanetti is a single-varietal expression of the elegance of this Lombardy region. Produced predominantly from Chardonnay, it is crafted according to the traditional method with a second fermentation in the bottle. Characteristic of Satèn is the reduced bottle pressure of a maximum of 5 bar, which gives the sparkling wine a particularly fine, creamy perlage and a silky texture. Zanetti places great importance on long aging on the lees, which allows complex aromas of white flowers, ripe citrus fruits, and fine brioche to develop. On the palate, the wine displays harmony, minerality, and elegance—a stylish companion to light appetizers, fish dishes, or simply as a refined aperitif.
