Cesare Bussolo - Barbera d´Alba DOC "Roscaleto" 2020

The "Roscaleto" is one of the top Barberas from Piedmont. As with all of Cesare's wines, the yield per vine is reduced until only 1kg remains. The full concentration flows into the chosen grapes, and the vine is trained to deliver quality. The Barbera is then aged like Nebbiolo for one year in French oak. Dark fruit aromas, herbs, and vegetal notes, fine wood, and spices spread on the nose. Intense in the bouquet, full-bodied, multi-layered, and powerful on the palate. Fine tannins, complex and structured. A fantastic wine with great potential and a truly extraordinary Barbera.
